dates = getabstime (tc) returns a column cell array of character vectors, the date of each sample of the collection tc, written as timeseries.getabstime writes them: in the format TimeInfo.Format, or 'dd-mmm-yyyy HH:MM:SS' when that is empty. MATLAB writes the default whatever TimeInfo.Format says. A collection with no TimeInfo.StartDate is refused.
