A vector of distinct integers from -128 to 127, stored as double, [] by default. MATLAB accepts any number here, repeated codes included.

A cell array of character vectors, [] by default. A character vector or a string array is converted.

tsdata.qualmetadata: qi = tsdata.qualmetadata ()

qi = tsdata.qualmetadata () returns an object with Code, Description and UserData all []. A timeseries creates its own; this is needed only to assign a whole new one to ts.QualityInfo.

tsdata.qualmetadata: S = get (qi)

tsdata.qualmetadata: value = get (qi, name)

tsdata.qualmetadata: values = get (qi, names)

S = get (qi) returns a structure of every property of qi. value = get (qi, name) returns the property name, a character vector or a string scalar matched in any case, and values = get (qi, names) a row cell array of the properties named in the cell array names. For an array, one name gives a cell array of its size, and no name, or several, a cell array with a row per object and a column per property.

tsdata.qualmetadata: set (qi, name, value, …)

tsdata.qualmetadata: qi2 = set (qi, name, value, …)

tsdata.qualmetadata: S = set (qi)

set (qi, name, value, …) sets each property name, matched in any case, to its value, in the order given, in the variable qi of the caller, which must therefore be a variable. Metadata held by a timeseries is set with dot assignment instead, as ts.TimeInfo.Units = 'days'.

qi2 = set (qi, name, value, …) returns the modified object and leaves qi as it was. S = set (qi) returns what get (qi) does.
