ts = mrdivide (a, b) returns the matrix right division of a by b, sample by sample; each result keeps the size of one sample. One of them may be a number whose size fits the division with one sample.

The rules for two series are given under timeseries.plus, save that DataInfo.Units is dropped, since a product or quotient of units is the unit of neither; MATLAB keeps it where both series have the same.

A number divided by a series, 2 / ts, divides each sample; MATLAB divides by the whole data column as one matrix.
