timeseries.sum
timeseries: v = sum (ts)
timeseries: v = sum (ts, name, value, …)
Return the sum of a series over time.
v = sum (ts) returns the sum of each data element
over time, so v has the size of one sample; with 'time'
weighting it is the sum of the weighted samples. v is
double whatever the class of the data, and [] for a series
with no samples.
